program is technically valid until the last day in January. So you
still have this weekend!
In that spirit, the Sacfit training program and team welcome you and are ready to get
you moving forward toward any of your fitness goals you might have. And
with our approach, you still have plenty of time to have success!

the region, which allows for the most complete training and preparation
to assure the best success and results for any number of Spring-time
training goals you
For those with a race goal in mind, our target race is
River Parkway Half-Marathon and 5K. This is our
training program and is perfect for all fitness levels - and
most New Year's Resolutions! Our half marathon training
program is specially tailored for the American River
Marathon (First-time finish or PR goal)
- Speed work and Marathon base
- 5K, 10K
- General Fitness
- for our more intermediate and advanced team mates, we also have a
training program for the Shamrock'n Half Marathon. Two races under one
great training program!

Over the past 10 years, Sacfit
has successfully training nearly 9,000 people whose goals ranged from
qualifying for the Boston Marathon, running a sub two-hour half
marathon to just getting off the couch and moving again and everything
is rooted in providing
a first-class training program and fun experience.
We start with you and your goals, then
construct a training program geared toward your goals and along the way
provide knowledgeable and friendly coaches to educate, support,
you. Here are just a few program features to show you what
- Personalized Training Program.
We don't just have you "find" your pace. We conduct an initial pace and
fitness assessment your first day out and then 7-8 weeks later, we do a
more in-depth pace assessment to further refine and personalize your
program. No other training group provides this level of personalized
training. But this is the only way to maximize results and success,
- No Training Alone.
Tired of paying good money for a training group only to find that half
way through the season you're training alone? At Sacfit, you always
have friends to train along side you, as well as inspirational and
supportive coaches who run or
walk with you
for the entire workout and for the entire
- Fully Stocked Aid Stations.
As the workouts get longer and the weather warmer, aid stations are a
key component to any training program. But a jug of Gatorade and gels
with flavors you don't even like does not an aid station make. At
Sacfit, we offer over six different kinds of fresh fruit, fresh-cooked
potatoes, PB&J sandwich squares, tech-supplements, ice cold
water and sport drink, just to name a few. We also provide a stock of
ice-cubes to refill your water bottles.
- Free Family Picnic
Breakfast. Each season, we offer a free picnic breakfast
team and their families or significant others. We want your home
support network to get a little love from Sacfit and who doesn't love a
